• OUR DAILY OLDIES: WHO DOESN'T REMEMBER THIS CLASSIC? PERSONALLY, IT REMINDS ME MANY YEARS AGO IN ATLANTIC CITY'S BOARDWALK IN NEW JERSEY, A STREET MUSICIAN WITH A GUITAR, MICROPHONE, AMPLIFIER AND MANY OTHER INSTRUMENTS ATTACHED TO HIS BODY, PLAYING THIS SONG AND SOUNDING LIKE A FULL BAND. ROCKIN' ROBIN. ENJOY IT!

  • OUR DAILY OLDIES: BY THE EARLY 1950s, WHEN ROCK AND ROLL WAS BORN, BLACK PERFORMERS WERE DOING WERE DOING "REVOLUTIONARY" MUSIC FOR THE AGE BUT THOSE WERE THE TIMES WHEN SEGREGATION WAS STILL LEGAL. WHITE ARTISTS USED TO DO COVER VERSIONS OF SONGS ORIGINALLY FROM BLACK ARTISTS BUT THE WHITE COVER VERSION WAS THE ONE SELLING MORE RECORDS AND PLAYING ON THE RADIO, MAKING FAMOUS THE WHITE "COPIERS". SAM PHILIPS OWNED A LITTLE RECORDING STUDIO IN MEMPHIS, TN (SUN RECORDS) MAKING RECORDS BY BLACK MUSICIANS AND SINGERS. HE SAID TO HIMSELF: "IF I FIND A WHITE GUY WHO COULD DO THESE SONGS, I COULD GET RICH". ONE DAY, ELVIS CAME WITH A GUITAR AND WANTED TO RECORD A SONG FOR HIS MOTHER... THE REST IS HISTORY. TODAY'S SONG IS 'READY TEDDY', ORIGINAL BY LITTLE RICHARD AND THE COVER VERSION BY ELVIS.

  • OUR DAILY OLDIES: AS MANY OF YOU HAVE NOTICED, OLDIES ARE PLAYED LOUDLY AT EVERY TRUMP RALLY. YOU ALSO MAY HAVE NOTICED HOW THE TV PRESENTERS FROM RSBN STREAMING TV NETWORK ARE SPEAKING NON STOP WHEN THE MUSIC IS PLAYING. IT IS JUST BECAUSE AN ABSURD GOOGLE RULE THAT LISTENING TO THE BACKGROUND MUSIC FROM THE RALLY IS A "VIOLATION OF COPYRIGHT". IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, SINCE RSBN TV IS NOT BROADCASTING THE MUSIC BUT THE RALLY AND WHAT PEOPLE HEAR IS THE BACKGROUND SOUND FROM THE EVENT. ALSO THE MUSIC PLAYED IN THE RALLIES IS NOT RAMDOMLY CHOSEN BUT IT COMES FROM TRUMPS LIBRARY OF FAVORITE SONGS. THE SONG TODAY MAY JUST BE A TRUMP'S FAVORITE, BECAUSE IT ALWAYS PLAY AT THE RALLIES WHEN TRUMP SPEECH IS GETTING CLOSER. 'PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE' BY JAMES BROWN. ENJOY IT!

  • OUR DAILY OLDIES: THIS INSTRUMENTAL BY CHUCK MANGIONE, WAS VERY POPULAR IN THE 1970. IF MY MEMORY IS STILL GOOD, I THINK IT WAS RELATED TO SOME OLIMPIC GAMES BUT I DIDN'T FOLLOW SPORTS BACK THEN AND STILL DON'T DO. I REMEMBER IT AS A MUSIC RADIO LISTENER I WAS.

  • GOOD AFTERNOON FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS: SORRY I COULDN'T POST ANY VIDEOS THIS MORNING. I WAS NOT FEELING GOOD AND I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. AFTER A LONG MORNING AND SOME TESTS, THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG AND I ASKED TO BE RELEASED AND WENT BACK HOME. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME AND I EXPECT TO FOLLOW UP MY HEALTH EXAMS WITH MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR. I HOPE TO RETURN TO MY DAILY ACTIVITIES TOMORROW, INCLUDING THE VIDEOS, OLDIES AND CLASSIC CARTOONS. SEE YOU TOMORROW.
