• Its DARKER Than You THINK: The Real Reason Companies are WOKE

    I like Black Scout Survival, this is a good video!
    But his shirt in this video inspired my last post!

    So give a little consideration to your "idols" folks!
    And if you DON'T THINK that flags and banners and "National Symbols" are idols..... I'd advise you to THINK AGAIN!

    I'm NOT a believer who has "Crosses" all over my house and body either!
    I mean.... If I were crucified on a CROSS by Romans and Jews.....

    I don't think I'd appreciate the symbol much!
    But that's ME!

    I DON'T worship a CROSS or a CRUCIFIX nor ANY OTHER IDOL!
    The Father I bow to is ALIVE, and not encased in any idols!
    Food for thought!

    1 John 5:21 - Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

    Isaiah 44:9 - 44:20

    9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

    10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

    11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

    12 The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.

    13 The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

    14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.

    15 Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

    16 He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:

    17 And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

    18 They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

    19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

    20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

    There's only ONE Creator.....
    And He despises idols folks!

    These idols are CREATED by man, and have no power to "Create" anything
    However, your Father created YOU, and all you survey, He is ALIVE and watching right now. Maybe it's time to cast those idols down!

    But again...... That's just ME!
    I formed my opinion by HEARING HIS WORD though....

  • The Shroud of Turin is a linen cloth that bears the image of a man who appears to have been physically crucified. It is believed by some to be the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth. The shroud has been housed in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin, Italy since 1578. Radiocarbon dating conducted in 1988 dated the shroud to the Middle Ages, between 1260 and 1390 AD, which contradicts the belief that it is the authentic burial shroud of Jesus. However, some experts have disputed the accuracy of the radiocarbon dating and continue to argue that the shroud is much older.

  • The blessing he prays for to them: that they may be with me where I am. Where was Christ when he said this? He was going to the garden, to his agony, to be taken that night, and to be crucified next morning, and laid in his grave the next evening. But here our Lord is praying as one in heaven. See ver. 11, 12. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. And he prays to have his people with him in heaven. He loved them so well, that he came to the world where they were; he loved them so well, that he endured what they deserved: and here he expresseth his love in desiring that they may be with him where he is. Christ and his people must be together.

  • Michelangelo’s Pieta – The magnificent depiction of Mother Mary holding her crucified son, Jesus Christ. Beauty, elegance – restrained yet intense emotion. It is poignant, beautiful, and awe-inspiring. It is both symbolic of divinity’s sacrifice for humanity, and also the epitome of a mother’s love for her beloved son.

  • On a Wednesday before the Passover 2000 years ago our Saviour was crucified and died for our sins. He bridged the gulf between us and God the Father so that we may once again have an intimate relationship with the Lord. Thank you Lord Yeshua for your sacrifice of love for me.

  • Good day brothers and sisters it’s the Fourth Sunday of Lent. The Psalmist had a shepherd, do you have a shepherd. Let’s read more about that in the Smart Book;
    Psalm 23 Amplified Bible
    The LORD, the Psalmist’s Shepherd.
    A Psalm of David.
    23 The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me],
    I shall not want.
    2
    He lets me lie down in green pastures;
    He leads me beside the still and quiet waters.
    3
    He refreshes and restores my soul (life);
    He leads me in the paths of righteousness
    for His name’s sake.
    4
    Even though I walk through the [sunless] [a]valley of the shadow of death,
    I fear no evil, for You are with me;
    Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.
    5
    You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
    You have anointed and refreshed my head with [b]oil;
    My cup overflows.
    6
    Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life,
    And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the LORD.
    This Psalm is probably the most used for reading at a funeral or memorial service. During those hard times of such loss it is important to think of the living and their walk with God. Many who come to those services don’t have a shepherd and any hope for a future after death. Yes these services are an opportunity to share the gospel Christ for the Pastor or Officiant of the service. As you can see in this Psalm the shepherd provides you with all you need. He feeds, guides, and shields you. He allows you to peacefully sleep and rest. He gives you refreshment for your soul and restores it. No matter what you go through in life you have no fear, because He protects and guides you. He even allows you dine with your enemies. With the Shepherd you have goodness and mercy and unfailing love with you all the days of your life. You belong to His fold and He houses you with others in His Church. You can always be in His presence and call upon Him. This Psalm is not just to comfort you about the care for the dead, but to assure you the living that you too can have a wonderful Shepherd and live without your friend or loved one being in your presence anymore. The disciples needed this, because the Lord was about to be crucified and would leave their presence, but He wasn’t leaving them without a Shepherd. Allow the Lord to heal you today! Accept His gift of salvation so you too can have such a shepherd.
    The Lord bless and keep you, His Face shine upon you,

  • In an act of overt mockery, the guy pretending to be Damar Hamlin is wearing a jacket that says “eternal” in rainbow colored letters and has a satanic skull-faced Jesus being crucified with what appears to be his loincloth holding a hand gun... Our prayers MIGHT have saved his life, but apparently not his soul.

  • Whom will you choose?
    According to early Greek manuscripts, the full name of Barabbas, the prisoner who was released instead of Jesus, was actually Jesus Barabbas. The story of Barabbas is an interesting one. The Gospel accounts explain how Pontius Pilate gave the Jewish people the choice of releasing Jesus or Barabbas. Sadly, the people called for Barabbas to be released and for Jesus to be crucified.

    Barabbas was a notorious prisoner who had caused insurrection in Jerusalem, ultimately committing murder. He was a hardened criminal. Yet what is perhaps most interesting about him is his name. According to the early Greek manuscripts of Matthew 27:16, his first name was also “Jesus,” which, in Hebrew, means “the Lord saves.” Furthermore, the name “Barabbas” means “son of the father” in Aramaic.

    So the Jewish people were faced with a choice between two saviors. They could choose Jesus Christ or Jesus “son of the father.” The first Jesus came to give eternal salvation, achieved by grace through faith. The second Jesus came pursuing earthly salvation, achieved by violence.

    At the heart of the choice between the two was an understanding of what the character of the heavenly Father really is. Either He is a God of vengeance who takes life, or He is a God of love that gives life. And so the Jewish people chose to reflect their understanding of Him and took life.

    Yet in their act of taking life, Christ was able to give life.

    Of course, it wasn’t them alone who chose to take Christ’s life. All who have sinned have ultimately chosen Jesus Barabbas. But we can start afresh today and choose the life of Christ over the life of Barabbas.

  • Good day brothers and sisters, we have now come to the Third Sunday of Epiphany. God does not want us to be divided in our faith, but united. Let’s see what the Smart Book has to say about this;
    1 Corinthians 1:10-18 Amplified Bible
    10 But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith]. 11 For I have been informed about you, my brothers and sisters, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are quarrels and factions among you. 12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, “I am [a disciple] of Paul,” or “I am [a disciple] of Apollos,” or “I am [a disciple] of Cephas (Peter),” or “I am [a disciple] of Christ.” 13 Has Christ been divided [into different parts]? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul? [Certainly not!] 14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so that no one would say that you were baptized into my name. 16 Now I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know if I baptized anyone else. 17 For Christ did not send me [as an apostle] to baptize, but [commissioned and empowered me] to preach the good news [of salvation]—not with clever and eloquent speech [as an orator], so that the cross of Christ would not be [a]made ineffective [deprived of its saving power]. 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.
    So when we all become Christians we are all Disciples of Christ. He’s the one who died on the cross for us. Let’s be united in our faith and display God’s love to one another and to a lost world around us.
