I've edited and posted some 500 videos myself..... Generally... I'm just sharing someone else's video, and pointing folks to it's creator... But even THAT is a lot of work when you consider downloading or recording the video, editing it to avoid copyright claims, posting the url to original videos, creating a thumbnail, and then uploading it to 5 or more platforms! In 4 years I've never made a single cent! No telling how much time I've put into doing it, to help keep people informed.... And then, to top it off, I'll have 400 views on a video with 3 likes! Within a matter of weeks, Steamboat Willie will be in the Public Domain, along with early versions of Mickey Mouse, Tigger, and the rest of the Hundred Acre Woods gang. The modern versions and works are still under copyright, although. I believe even the name Mickey Mouse is Trade Marked. I believe on Jan 1st, the copyright is up on the classic works.
