OUR DAILY OLDIES: AFTER THE BIG SUCCESS OF MIRIAM MAKEBA (FROM SOUTH AFRICA) IN 1967, BY THE 1970, SEVERAL AFRICAN GROUPS AND PERFORMERS HAD MUSIC PLAYING ON AMERICAN RADIO AND MANU DIBANGO (FROM CAMEROON) HAD A BIG HIT WITH 'SOUL MAKOSSA'. I HAD THE SINGLE 45" RECORD BACK IN NEW JERSEY AND SIDE 'B' OF THE RECORD WAS 'LILY'. 'LILY' WAS NEVER PLAYED ON AMERICAN RADIO, BUT I CAN TELL YOU IT WAS PLAYED IN EUROPEAN STATIONS AND AROUND THE CARIBBEAN. HERE, I INCLUDE BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD. ENJOY IT!
