I've been hearing that some ignoramuses on X saying that bombing Japan in WWII wasn't necessary? OK people... I am mostly Japanese, I am San-shi generation of my family in America, and a WWII History buff... and yes it was necessary to drop ONE nuke, not two.

The Japanese were planning on using the "villagers" as military in WWII. It wasn't unheard of in feudal Japan to have the "Peasant Samurai" where the commoner used their farming implements as weapons and went to war. Same principle here. They were going to fight to the last man, woman, and child. So the nuclear end was the only end for the Japanese in WWII. But, ONE NUKE not two.

This tactic was used in many skirmishes during the feudal era.
