This is why it's cool (and snow on the ground where I am) at the moment. There are no sunspots facing us on the sun, but as you can see by this image (this is current as of the time of this posting), there are some pretty big ones coming around which will be facing us within a day or two and watch the temps warm back up when they do. There's no global warming, it's just the 11 year solar cycle, of which we're at the warmest point of it combined with sunspot activity. Sunspots always lead to warmer temps, always. That's what causes warming, nothing else.
