I'd call that a complete and total lack of training and brain cells! But that's me Police try to use "We got a call" as justification to handcuff people and interrogate them, which happens all the time....... I mean I can call Police and claim "There's a man walking his dog" and I'm sure they'd send 3 units! If THERE IS NO CRIME being reported........ WHY would Police involve themselves? I understand that dispatching a unit to evaluate the situation is NOT unreasonable in the slightest..... What happens is that LEO's inevitably show up and act as if "we got a call" creates some kind of crime where there is none! And BTW..... "We got a call" neither creates PROBABLE CAUSE or RAS ( Reasonable, Articulable, suspicion ) THE PUBLIC does not create law, and what they claim on a TELEPHONE CALL cannot be construed as "Evidence" of anything!
