Monkeypox Outbreak Slows But CDC Promises to Keep "Their Pedal to the Metal" Which Translates to Pushing More Vaccines

The number of Americans newly diagnosed with monkeypox has decreased by about 50% since early August, says the White House and other officials. https://wb.md/3RRgFEM

But, CDC Head Rochelle Walensky says they will keep their "pedal to the metal" and continue educating, vaccinating and treating highest risk communities. (Uh, you mean like gay men?)

The gay WH Monkeypox Coordinator, Demetre Daskalakis, said:

Communities of gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men, including men of color, have "their foot on the gas pedal too.” (Guess he would know.)

This population is helping officials understand how best to use the treatment drug TPOXX and the Jynneos vaccine, for example, and will be essential to ongoing research.

Nothing in there about stopping same sex contact though. Can't imagine why.

Fauci expectedly is pushing more vaccines other than the 2-dose Jynneos for the pox:

“Whenever you have a viral illness that spreads with replication largely in the community and you have a single drug that you're using, there is always the theoretical possibility of resistance,”

Uh, what community is it spreading in, Dr. Fauci?

Fauci, is sponsoring a clinical trial of 500 nationwide volunteers, including woman and children, for smallpox treatment drug Texovirimat beginning this month. https://bit.ly/3didTtg

Texovirimat is manufactured by SIGA Technologies, Inc., NYC. which is partnered with the NIH and CDC, of course. https://bit.ly/3QXNoHm

I wonder why Fauci is pushing that particular drug? Not that he would be doing so for personal gain, of course. It's all professional.

And the pandemic/vaccine agenda rolls on and on.
