Eighteen Counties Have Called on Texas Governor Abbott to Use His Powers Under the Texas and U.S. Constitution to Declare the Illegal Horde Influx an Invasion and Immediately Prevent and Remove Eighteen Counties in Texas declared the Southern Border Crisis an Invasion and submitted a resolution to Abbott to use the powers granted to him under Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the Texas Constitution and Article 1, Section 10 Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution to: - "immediately prevent and/or remove all persons trespassing as well as invading the sovereignty of Texas and that of the United States.” https://bit.ly/3BkU4sW The Judges and Commissioners in these counties are calling on Abbott to use his full authority under the state and U.S. Constitution to do more which means prevent and remove the invaders. They are also calling on all of the 254 counties in Texas to acknowledge the crisis as an invasion. Abbott has not yet declared this an invasion, however, he has done more than any other governor to secure the border. Since he launched Operation Lone Star, this multi-agency effort has led to 300,800 apprehensions of illegal foreign nationals with more than 19,800 criminal arrests and more than 16,800 felony charges reported.
