Did Facebook Really Come from DARPA - The Government Agency Credited for Creating the World Wide Web?

One of the most important media weapons DARPA created was a project called LifeLog.

Lifelog's goal was to develop a cloud database that could track an individuals entire lifestyle.
The compilation of info could then be used to predict a person’s future plans by artificially manipulating their environment.

It could be used to also gather detailed information about the person’s family, friends, workplace, favorite past time, contacts, etc.

Then, DARPA suddenly abandoned this project. The rationale was a "change in priorities." https://bit.ly/2JELrOf

MIT, an arm of the Tavistock Institute who heavily developed the social engineering concept, was bidding to take over the LifeLog project and was disappointed when it got dropped.

Recently ran into this statement in a book:

- “This DARPA created LifeLog project became…Facebook!”

- “Facebook was not developed by Mark Zuckerberg. It was developed by DARPA and given to Mark Zuckerberg to run.”

Interesting.

That’s not what the movie said you might think. it was those fraternity brothers who were given money by the courts. I saw it on the movie.

Well, maybe, but, after all, who owns the media? What culture is Zuckerberg?

Could be some benefit there for the cultural image one would think.

Anyway, not fully confirmed this, but it may not be as speculative as one might think.

Stuff like this happens more often than we are led to believe. Right, Google?
