Look! COVID Boosters Can Actually Help People with Lupus Too! So Study Claims. Let's Follow the Study Numbers
That's correct. If you have Lupus, a disease where the body attacks itself, the boosters can benefit you according to a new study (funded by the NIH and Bloomberg Philanthropies).
In 2020, NYU Langone found that Lupus patients were being hospitalized at double the rate of patients without Lupus.
However, a new study suggests that boosters lower the rate of hospitalizations. https://wb.md/3II9LOj
Let's follow the numbers:
- The survey began with 163 fully vaccinated Lupus patients
- Only 125 got the booster which shaves off 38 patients
- Of those 125, 44 or about 1/3rd had "breakthrough" COVID infections, 2 were hospitalized.
- 42 of these breakthroughs occurred after the alleged Omicron variant had been "discovered" in NYC.
- Of these 42 with the COVID infection, only 22% had received the booster.
- OK, that would be 9 patients (9.24% to be exact)
- So then, this entire claim is based on 9 out of the originally claimed 163 fully vaccinated Lupus patients.

Pretty impressive huh? Under 5% of the patients were claimed as benefits which means:
- Over 95% were not!
But hey, if you already have Lupus, an autoimmune disease, it's worth the risk, right?
