A Letter from Senator Sinema
When I wrote and negotiated the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs law last year, I made sure to prioritize historic funding for Arizona communities that need it most.
Recently, I was thankful to meet with tribal and rural leaders from Navajo, Apache, Gila, and Coconino Counties. We discussed the once-in-a-generation funds my bipartisan infrastructure law invests in their communities - and how we'll continue working together to lower costs and get the dollars from our historic law efficiently and effectively into their communities.
We hosted a roundtable with Navajo Nation leaders and community members to discuss how our infrastructure law addresses key priorities for the Nation and tribal regions - including critical transportation and water infrastructure, broadband deployment, and wildfire prevention - all while fighting inflation
