Good Fridays a joke! My daughters first Bible has ‘Jesus’ in the tomb for 2 nights since you can’t squeeze 3 nights from Friday to Sunday! What about Jonah in the whale for 3 nights being a prophetic shadow picture??
The reason it doesn’t fit is because the Crucifixion happened on Passover which is, was and always will be on the 14th of the Aviv! You have to look at this with a Hebrew mindset, not thru a Greek or Roman lense.
