Their argument is that these people are not groomers, they are socialists and the problem is not gay stuff being taught to kids, it's socialized schooling and lack of school choice. This is so goddamn typical of conservatives. The groomer accusation is one of moral outrage at the content of teaching, not the structure of schools. And it has yielded results in forcing some teachers to quit and making school boards cower when outraged citizens yell at them that they are sexually abusing kids. The moral intuition of the boomers and parents is correct. These people are sexually abusing kids. And the the thing that gives them the right to demand it be different is that the schools are public, meaning the public has a say.
