Canadian PM Trudeau Rescinds His Controversial Emergency Act

After his military armored police and jackbooted UN thug force cleared Ottawa of the truckers convoy and protestors, PM Trudeau felt the situation in Canada was no longer an emergency.

Trudeau said in a televised news conference:

“The situation is no longer an emergency. Therefore, the federal government will be ending the use of the Emergencies Act. We are confident that existing laws and bylaws are sufficient to keep people safe.” https://washex.am/3BQOcrf

The only people not safe it seems were the protestors attacked by his police and UN force, not the citizens of Canada.

Meanwhile, the Canadian Civil Liberties Assn announced last week that it will be suing Trudeau for invoking the Emergencies Act claiming the legal standard of national emergency had not been met.

Trudeau claims the protests cost Ottawa $800,000 a day and snarled cross-border trade with the U.S. worth up to $350 million a day. These economic impacts are what drove him to invoke the act.

Now that Trudeau has been exposed, Canadians would be well served to keep up the pressure to get this would be dictator out of office asap or suffer more of the same and worse in the future.
