I took a day to decide if I wanted to share this and decided I can do so in a way that alerts my friends and family but keeps personal information out of it....
Yesterday I had an appointment with a medical professional. A surgeon. A medical expert with his own practice that tends to thousands of patients a year. Board certified and recognized in Ontario as a Specialist in his field.
While waiting for him to just get everything ready for my appointment, I asked if it makes it harder for him to have to do his work in a mask and a face shield - because he also wears glasses.
For a few seconds he hesitated on how to answer the question but then recognized I am a long time patient of his and obviously felt he could be honest with me.
He told me that at first it was not a problem for him to wear all the protection because in his field there is at least 3X per day in surgery that he needs to wear those items for his whole career.
After receiving his first injection as he was mandated to do in order to continue to operate, he suffered heart problems. Rapid beating, feeling faint, dizziness. He admittedly dismissed this as just not feeling well from the stress of everything going on and ignored it.
YES - a medical professional ignored this.
He was mandated to get the second injection and he did.
His heart problems are severe enough now that he must excuse himself from patients every few minutes to go remove his mask and face shield because he cannot breathe and his heart is beating so rapidly that he needs to sit down. He has scarring on his heart and is scheduled for ultrasounds on his heart to see how far the damage has gone. IF they can maintain his appointments because only COVID is top priority right now.
They are currently telling him he needs to get the third injection.
This medical professional told me that he and other team members are being forced to dismiss everything they have ever been taught in medical school about freedom of choice.
Example given : If a patient comes in with an organ that is infected or a body part that needs to be removed due to sepsis and they will die if they don't - and they tell me no I cannot remove it - I am not allowed to remove it. Freedom of choice is first and foremost in the medical world.
He was not given this freedom of choice and now he is suffering greatly with heart issues. He is not allowed to question it. He is not allowed to make a stink about it. He is to accept it and wait for his ultrasounds.
This is a real and true story from 24 hours ago.
He is not anti vaccine, he has had all vaccines since birth.
He just knew this specific shot was not tested, no long term safety studies, no nothing. He did not want this injection until these things were completed. He was forced.
