Okay, defund the police. I'm okay with even going back to pre-1964 levels when citizens in small communities practiced self-policing and Andy and Barney simply kept the peace.
Of course, in this day and age, fewer cops would mean there would rarely be a need to bother the police for petty things such as trespass, breaking and entering, attempted rape, or even someone running their big mouth. That's right, other than murder or someone actually making off with your property, we will rarely have to bother the sheriff's office. The ambulance service will be the only number needed on speed dial and I'm okay with that. B|
