It's been a long while since I've been on Mirc, but it's a really cool Internet Relay Chat Client that you can create "Channels" on (Like a chat room) and it has all kinds of file sharing capabilities and some cool features. It's based on "Servers" because there's a ton of them! So to build a group EVERYONE needs to be using the same server group (Like DarkNet, FalNet etc...) For instance if I have an MP3 or midi sound file and play it, if you like it you can request it from me and I'll send it to you. Once you have the file too, next time I play it, you'll actually hear it play on your end too! With all of the #Censorship going on it would be a great place to build "Action Groups" State specific, country specific whatever, and you can share files etc... HOWEVER... there are some perverts roaming around on there but you can easily block them and kick them from your channel! I really liked it when I used it, you can leave it running and see all the conversations you missed. You can chat in the channel with EVERYONE or you can open private chats too.
