Voting Reform and Technology:
Of all the forms of speech, voting is the most important and powerful expression of speech. Yet, it is limited to one opinion per ballot. When voting, how do you know that your vote was counted? Do you get a receipt allowing you to track your vote? Does one even know if the selection one made is the way the vote was counted? We have all this technology and no one has thought to use it to force legitimacy into the most important activity of society. Given how ethical our elected officials are perceived, do we really trust them or the system? In some states they cannot even count caucus votes. Time to get accountability.
