Politifact "fact checked" a claim by creating a strawman (archive below). The obvious problem here is that Pete Buttgig, surrounded by a bunch of gas guzzling vehicles, got on and rode his bike to make it appear he's "saving the world." Politifact says it's not true because he didn't ride it "a few feet." I measured the distance by pixels, and as the crow flies, it's 11k feet, or 2.1 miles - a pitiful distance, and he probably didn't even ride the whole way. The real claim here: Pete used a bunch of large armored vehicles and rode his bike a short way to pretend he's "environmental."
