My advice to you is to buy a multi-stage RO (Reverse osmosis) filter under your sink if you live in an apartment. And on top of that, buy a ZeroWater pitcher, which will ensure that you drink entirely pure water. The RO filter costs around $200, and the ZeroWater pitcher costs around $35. If you live in a house, however, you should invest some money in a whole-house RO filter to make sure zero TDS water is circulating throughout your home, including the showers, which is essential to keep your skin and hair healthy and looking good. If you really care about your health, you should make sure that your water is absolutely pure from any contaminants like minerals and fluoride and other toxins. You should never buy bottled water but if you have to, only buy distilled water and nothing else. You can also buy a distilled water machine, which is the size of a coffee machine, and it sits on your kitchen counter. However, these machines are very slow, and they only produce around 1 liter of pure water per hour.
