Under the Constitution of the United States there are three soverreign entities. The federal government itself, the state goverments, and the citizens. Each is responsible for for sustaining themselves (at least historically). Why should the citizens of the United States pay for the bad decisions of California or any state for that matter. Are states to "Big to Fail"? It is because the federal government keep subsidizing the states and local governments that we/they find ourselves in this situation. Limit your spending and services to what the tax base can support. Like say (Drum roll please) a business. We have no Money for any of this. In a phrase, STOP THE SPENDING!!!!!
