The questions that citizens of each state with lockdown orders should be asking and are not. Where does the State Executive Branch get the authority to suspend civil liberties? Is it in the State Constitution? Is there a statute? Can they cite it? Does the statute actually grant this authority? If it does, where did the State Constitution authorize the State Legislature to make such a law? Otherwise, this use of executive order is illegal, not to mention Unconstitutional at both the State and National Constitutional level.
