Which has manifested to a new terrible lock down we are facing today. Prohibition: The outlawing of the distribution and sale of alcohol. This law has shown us a hundred years ago that the Morally righteous Washington D.C. has no trouble stomping on your life to feel go laws that have and will hurt many people hundreds of years later down the road. The public leaders back then and the movement the started that mess back then single-handily started the Rise of the Mob, the now corrupt F.B.I, government overreach, and long-standing abuse of your constitutional rights. All for the greater good... The Temperance movement wanted to feel good about themselves then forcing an unconstitutional law and even manipulating the media at that time to push the narrative and are doing so again. It took a convention of the states to undo this law... We must do so again today. Even today Organized crime hurts thousand of people today as it did then. Drugs, human trafficking, stolen cars, stolen goods, even human organs, and nuclear materials. These crimes are nothing new but, it wouldn't have been as big if Prohibition was never passed. We may have even stamped it out globally. The idea of "does this law do any good." was never considered at all. People also broke this law every chance they got. From Speak-easy and Houch portals were in every city and around every neighborhood. Everyone also knew where to find them. The lock-down on booze stopped nothing... not a damn thing. Even when the laws were amended, The mob just moved on to the next money maker. The Mob is a business no more no less. It's adaptable and knows how to serve their customer base better then any Jackass in Washington has ever done in a hundred years. And let's not ever forget what happened on one really bad Tuesday in 1929. So here we are again... A virus has replaced booze as the evil thing to fight and they just locked us up and in some cases thew away the key. Also by shutting do a lot of businesses once again Depressionville here, we come. This time I hope we learned our final lesson and use it as a rope, to hang them every last one with or at least vote them out and make sure they will never hold a government job anywhere in America ever again. The "We know better than you," "It's for your own good," and "It's for the greater good," complex hasn't changed or ever will. It's only gotten worse over time. We should have learned then...
