Personally, I don't think you can be a wise philosopher unless you've both been (a) a victim of power as well as (b) held a responsible position to wield it in the service of the state responsibly. But, that's just me. The pictures involve something that can be seen. Yet, most of my life has involved studying many disciplines and generating potential solutions for vexing problems. That's my real kick.
