Teach our children about how terrible slavery was but also teach them that at the beginning of the war only 1.4% of Americans owned slaves and that around 600000 WHITE AMERICANS DIED TO END SLAVERY AND THAT PRESIDENT LINCOLN GAVE HIS LIFE TO END SLAVERY.
