IRS, says won't process until February 22, but they started processing on February 12th. This is not unusual for the IRS this is actually an every year occurrence. Lol...its your approved date that actually matters. They start processing 24 hours after the refund is accepted. So, this doesn't change your refund date. Just means that the EITC and CTC don't process until February 22. Since you got your refund in so early its already been processed and approved. However, the EITC and CTC will take a bit longer to process, but don't worry as long as nobody else uses the children or your wife on their taxes then your direct deposit date won't change, unless the IRS wants proof of citizenship like social security numbers and birth certificates.
