I phoned a local appliance repair shop yesterday. I asked the woman answering if John, the proprietor, was there.

She said: "He died October 27th. Chalk one more up to COVID."

I asked if he had anything else wrong at the time.

She replied: "He had pneumonia."

Any comments?
