This paper talks about the legality of prostitution, the title seems to be rather misguiding. No matter how the west has tried to outlaw prostitution, it's always been there. To me, it's the right of the woman. It's her body, if she wants to sell it, so be it. But regulate the hell out of it so that STDs and STIs can't be passed, and human trafficking is stopped.

The only way to stop human trafficking and the sex trade, is to make it a topic of conversation. While I don't feel that we need to stop the sex trade (this includes sex toys and porn sites) altogether, and it's the woman's right to sell her body if she wishes to (and I really don't give a fuck, quite frankly), we haven't been able to get rid of prostitution in over 200 years, we won't be able to get rid of it in 200 more years. It's just best to legalize it, regulate it, and allow them to get FICA out of it, so they can retire out of it.

Let's be adults about it, like the Feudal Japanese were. Sex is a bodily function that every adult needs to do, and everyone needs release. Stop being so... Victorian Era about it.

This incident, is nothing but tragic. The parents call it an accident, LEOs are calling it a murder-suicide. I tend to believe the police. From what it sounds like to me is that the child killed her cousin on accident, realized what she did and killed herself. 12-year-olds tend to understand more than you know.

The things you find when you're messing around on the web. On 09-August-2023, a grade school student was caught bringing what seems to be a sidearm with them to school. Well, he was caught on the bus with it. The local LEOs were called, and the child detained. WTF, people, keep your weapons out of reach of children, they aren't fucking toys. People owning sidearms that shouldn't be. smh.
