• The March Equinox
The Equinox in 2024 is a significant astronomical event that marks the beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and fall in the Southern Hemisphere. The March Equinox, also known as the vernal equinox, will occur on March 20, 2024, with some parts of the world observing it on March 19. During this time, Earth's two hemispheres receive the sun's rays equally, leading to approximately equal day and night lengths. The term "equinox" originates from Latin, meaning "equal night," although in reality, day and night are not exactly 12 hours each

The Equinox is a moment when the Sun crosses the celestial equator from south to north, signifying the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This event brings about various changes in nature, such as the arc of the sun shifting towards the north, birds and butterflies migrating northward, trees budding, and plants beginning a new cycle of growth. In contrast, the Southern Hemisphere experiences shorter days and longer nights as it transitions towards autumn and winter

The Equinox is a fascinating celestial occurrence that symbolizes balance and change in Earth's seasonal cycle, impacting both nature and human activities across different parts of the globe.

  • Biden’s F-16 bravado is a flight of fancy. it’s a desperate throw of the dice by a loser who is going to be seen as an even bigger loser when the chips are finally down.

Russia’s multilayered air defense systems The S-400 ground-to-air missiles have a deadly range of 400 kilometers. Several locations along Russia’s western border can cover a distance to Kiev. That means the F-16s can be blown out of the sky long before they get within strike range of Russia. It also means that the warplanes could be targeted for destruction even before they get off the ground.

Biden is acting tough and he is once more recklessly escalating the war with Russia with his latest move on sending F-16s. It’s no coincidence…

  • Genesis 11:4
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

The problem with MAN is that he seeks to build a "name" for himself!
Instead of glorifying the name of the Father who created him, and gave him all of his abilities!

I seek not Glory for myself!
I ONLY seek only to glorify Him!

    John 12
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

  • GOD'S WORD FOR TODAY
    DAILY DEVOTIONAL
    FROM SACKCLOTH TO DANCING
    READ PSALMS 27:1 THROUGH 33:22
Christians live in a troubled world. Like all people, they face trauma, stress, and challenges. God did not promise that His people would not have difficulties in this life. He did promise, however, that He would help turn those difficult times into times of joy and dancing!

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent (Psalm 30:11–12).

In Bible times, it seems people expressed their feelings more openly. The term wailing is translated as the word mourning in other versions and was a common practice at funerals. When there was great sadness, people exchanged their regular clothes for sackcloth, signifying their level of distress.

When you are sad or anxious, remember God knows you will have times like these. But also remember that He can turn them around for you so that you can dance with joy.

Prayer Suggestion: Father, when I experience tough times, help me remember that You are with me.

    Quicklook: Psalm 30:1–12

  • WILL THE TEMPLE BE REBUILT IN JERUSALEM BEFORE JESUS RETURNS?
    Bible Study / Daily Devotional
    Daily Devotions
Average reading time is about 5 and a half minutes

Dual prophecies have both a physical and spiritual fulfillment. As we read yesterday, Solomon, the son of David, built the physical temple. But this prophecy also applies spiritually to Jesus, the true “Son of David,” who is to build a temple and kingdom that will last forever.

Jesus’ prophecy that the temple would be destroyed inspired the most intense rejection of His teachings. (See Matthew 24:1, 2.) In Mark 14:58, Jesus says, “I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.” Of course, Jesus is speaking of rebuilding a temple not of stone, but of flesh. Many refused this teaching (John 2:20, 21) and even mocked Jesus for it while He was on the cross (Matthew 27:40).

Yet when Jesus died, the veil in the earthly temple ripped in two from the top to bottom (Matthew 27:51), signifying that the temple no longer held meaning. A temple for sacrifice today would be useless, and it would not be the house of God.

The New Testament consistently presents the idea that the temple is the body of Jesus. Ephesians 2:19–22 says, “You are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

Even after God provides all this evidence that His temple is a spiritual one, many Christians are waiting for the Jews to receive a construction permit to rebuild a temple on the site where a Muslim mosque now sits. However, there is no prophecy, promise, or commandment that says the physical temple would ever be rebuilt after the Romans razed it nearly 2,000 years ago.
    KEY BIBLE TEXTS
And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Matthew 27:40

OK, I will call Doug Batchelor out on this one. The Bible does clearly speak about the son of perdition setting himself up in the temple and beginning the sacrifices again. Read the Bible for yourself and find yourself approved!!!

  • Good Sunday Morning. It’s the Fifth Sunday of Lent. It’s already Palm Sunday in just a week. Jesus’ time with us on earth as a man was such a short time and was getting even shorter as He approached Jerusalem for High Feast. Let’s see what the Smart Book has to say about that time;
    John 12:20-33 King James Version
20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: 21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. 22 Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. 23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. 27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
So, even some Greeks would come up worship at the Feast. They desired to see Jesus. What more could a hungry heart desire, but to see the Lord. Jesus told them that the time had come for Him to be glorified. He had to die so that many Disciples could be fruitful is spreading the Good News. God the Father honor all Disciples of Christ. He knew that His death would be very painful, but He wanted to glorify the name of the Father. A voice came from heaven sounding like thunder saying, “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” The crowd was amazed. Jesus told them that the voice was not for Him, but for them. “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.” He let the crowd know that He was going to be crucified and in it He would draw all men unto Him.
It wasn’t so much the crucifixion, but the fact that He rose from the dead. I want you to see something though, when He was crucified, He took God’s judgment for all mankind’s sin. He also cast the Prince of this world out. He became the Prince of the power of the air. He could no longer be here physically. He now tries to deceive man through other means, such as gossip, radio, television, and now the internet. You can’t see him, but he is at work deceiving whomever he may. In the Book of Revelation it speaks of a beast and his mark. The mark of the beast is what is operating in your mind and the one who you are working for with your hand. Are you working and thinking upon things of the Lord, or of the beast. He will try to deceive mankind again into thinking that mankind can have all knowledge if only he would bow down and serve the beast. Don’t be deceived by an already defeated beast and his system. True knowledge comes from the Lord and the Lord alone, and that knowledge comes with love, true love of your creator.
