Damn, I spent hours today trying to figure out why my brave browser under windows 7 suddenly (started yesterday) started to completely crash on "certain sites" like youtube, it turned out that it is the brave shield, you have to disable it and install "Ublock Origin" instead if you still want to block ads and trackers etc., see https://community.brave.com/t/aggregate-topic-outdated-brave-crashing-on-youtube/541251 Under windows 7, you cannot update brave to the latest version because they disabled the updates and brave does not support windows 7 anymore, which sucks btw. and for me this is a big dent in the reputation of brave browser IMHO.
