  • Cowboy Rap (Jimmy Collins original)
This is not the version they played on the radio when it made its' debut in the early 1990's; it is the original version you would have heard had you bought the cassette.
(The ONLY Rap song I ever actually liked.)

"Welcome Home" is a new series about the Vietnam War.
    "
This video contains interviews with Vietnam Veteran Vance Gammons and a rare audio tape with compelling recordings of combat missions.
Vance Gammons was the Company Commander of the 335th Assault Helicopter Company in an era like no other: the Vietnam War. At the time, none of the Cowboys--as they were called then and today knew what would become of their lives if they were lucky enough to survive their time in the country.

The original "Cowboys" of A Company, 82nd Aviation Battalion arrived in South Vietnam on 1 May 1965. In September of 1966, A/82nd was redesignated the 335th Aviation Company (Airmobile Light,) and eventually the 335th Assault Helicopter Company. The first A/82nd patches are extremely rare, but I'm obtaining a drawing of the original design. The Cowboys spent over 30 months in direct combat support of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, an association that culminated in the battles around Dak To from June to December of 1967. During that time period, the Cowboys were awarded the PUC, The MUC w/ 1 OLC, and three RVN Gallantry Crosses w/Palm.

  • Outrage At Feds In Tactical Gear Indicting S.D. Ranchers Over 75-Year-Old Fenceline
Ranchers across the U.S. have expressed outrage over the Forest Service prosecuting a South Dakota ranch couple for allegedly stealing public land. The feds, who showed up armed and in tactical gear, say a fence that’s been on the owners' land for 75 years crosses a boundary with federal grasslands.

  • Hey everybody! I hope everyone is doing super!

Just wanted to share another junk mail journal idea as my dad is known for going through junk mail, I wanted to make his out of envelopes we usually recycle
and upcycle them into this neat journal!
This is a flip through and you can see some of the ways you can cover these and use them.
Please let us know your ideas or how you would use things that are generally considered trash.

  • Cowboy Logic
I read for almost 2 hours this morning trying to find something I could write about that wouldn't get me kicked off Facebook. Fail... The good news about that is a great awakening is occurring. All the little strings that held down Gulliver are slowly being broken and sooner or later that giant is going to get up. All the folks that tied those ropes might want to take notice.

You can fence in a herd for a long time. But a little pressure over a long time will slowly wear and tear on the strongest bindings releasing all that pent up energy and anger over being restrained. Watching that release is spellbinding to me. As the actual stories are slowly but surely coming out, all those folks ridiculing others for actually thinking critically might want to say they are really really sorry before some repay the loan of injury and insult. Some very serious people are starting to tell the truth and the opposite that has been purveyed is really really horrible in it's scope.

We are at a time of turning over the prairie with a plow. The old surface is going to be remade eventually and the refreshing will change everything. But it's going to take work, cooperation, organization and bravery to achieve. To break fences that hold a herd back, either a panic/stampede, or slow deliberate pressure is the solution. I see the latter in play at the moment. But stay tuned for the fence menders to try to induce the former to push the herd away from freedom. This year is pivotal. Stay tuned...

  • Cowboy Rap: The ONLY Rap Song I EVER Liked By Jimmy Collins

Jimmy Collins' song hit the Top 40 for about a week back in the early 1990's, but after this hit single, he disappeared from the Top 40 charts. His video version is a bit different in his lyrics that they sang on the radio. The radio version is different from the taped version and the video version as you will soon hear.
