In my speech at the #AccountabilityNow Ohio rally and press conference, I spoke about how qualified immunity creates a culture of unaccountability, and the cost-benefit analysis that police departments across the country make that lead them to keep bad officers on the force. #QualifiedImmunity must end, and ANO has started that process. They've submitted a constitutional amendment to be placed on the ballot for Ohio voters to vote on which, if passed, would end qualified immunity. In order for Ohio voters to be able to make that choice, the Ohio Attorney General must declare the amendment's summary to be fair and truthful. He has until May 13th to do so, which is 6 days away.
