A more complete definition of the term "useful idiots" is a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and who is cynically being used by the cause's leaders. The term was often used during the Cold War to describe non-communists regarded as susceptible to communist propaganda and psychological manipulation. It also describes the modern day followers of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the so-called "Progressives" also known as the Congressional Progressive Caucus and the Democratic National Committee; most of whom are card-carrying members of the American Communist Party. It's amusing... the very thing that we fought to keep out of the world is now effecting all the world. Hitler and Mussolini must be laughing their asses off. Time for another history lesson. There are 3 kinds of Socialists: Red, white, and one other. The red wants socialism for everyone, the white wants socialism only for their country. BOTH end up to be dictators, it's the nature of the ideology. Today's socialist, which encompasses all the socialists in the world, including the ones in America, are Red Socialists like what the Soviets were, and China is, BUT, they're Police State Socialists... Fascists. A new type, I call them Pink Socialists, a blend really. The Socialists of today are violent, want to take over business and the world, they want control over everything. They won't leave businessmen in control of the businesses like the Fascists, but will control it themselves. They will have a police state. Like the red socialists, they want socialism for the world, but they want to be in total control of everything, as I've said. So, we have: The Red Socialists: China, the Former USSR, N. Korea for a time. The White Socialists: Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, N. Korea (???) The Pink Socialists: Today's Socialists: Dem Party, and most of the world.
