For example, it's illegal to collect rainwater for drinking purposes in Arkansas, Illinois, and Nevada. You can collect rainwater to water your garden, but you can't drink it. In most cases, the regulations imposed by politicians on the masses to protect the interests of the water companies make it impossible to build a self-sustaining home that's off the grid. And if you don't obey whatever rules that the scumbag politicians cooked up or you behind closed doors, they'll send their attack dogs (cops) to steal money from you (issue a fine) or kidnap you (arrest you) and force you into a rape cage (prison).
