I hate liberal internationalism (however I believe the term should be more specific like "liberal internationalism imperialism". Liberal internationalism is a foreign policy doctrine that argues that liberal states should intervene in other sovereign states to pursue liberal objectives. Such intervention can include both military invasion and humanitarian aid. This view is contrasted to the isolationist, realist, or non-interventionist foreign policy doctrines; these critics characterize it as liberal interventionism." Ideological Tinkerbell Effect - describing things that adoptants of a particular system of ideas and ideals, think to exist – because of what the particular system of ideas and ideals suggestionizes (to its adoptants) to exist. I think this perspective isn't asking "why" enough. It seems to be following a blueprint.
