• GOD'S WORD FOR TODAY
    DAILY DEVOTIONAL
    GOD HAS A PLAN
    READ JUDGES 7:1 THROUGH 8:35
Soon after God called Gideon to defend Israel, a vast army of raiders numbering around 135,000 spread out across the valley of Jezreel. Gideon called the people to arms. Around thirty thousand men responded. Though the Israelites were heavily outnumbered, God told Gideon that the Israelite army was too large. So God, gave Gideon instructions to trim the force to the right size.

The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home” (Judges 7:7).

Gideon’s force, now outnumbered about four hundred fifty to one, launched a nighttime offensive at God’s direction. Terror and chaos enveloped the enemy camp and, as promised, God gave the Israelites a great victory.

Like Gideon, you may be facing a fight seems impossible to win, but if God has called you to fight that battle, you can trust Him to help you win.

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, help me remember that You have a plan for whatever I face and that obedience to Your instructions will yield the right result.

    Quicklook: Judges 7:4–14

  • LIFE’S MOST IMPORTANT CHOICE
    READ JOSHUA 23:1 THROUGH 24:33
“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).

Serving the Lord has rarely been easy. For the Israelites of Joshua’s day, it meant being different from the people around them. It meant sacrificing their best to God. It meant giving up one day a week for rest and worship—a day when they could harvest crops, go to market, or party with friends. It could also mean going to war against Canaanites still occupying Israel.

For Christians today it can mean loss of a promotion, loss of friends, or taking an unpopular moral stand. That’s a small price to pay for a clear conscience, peace of mind and heart, God’s approval, and a reward in heaven.

A young aid worker martyred by a radical group wrote that her mother told her that in the end all you have is God. It’s true. He is all that really matters.

Challenge for Today: Choose to serve God.

There is no end to the level of self-righteousness on the part of the Democratic Party \ Global Political Left! It's not a Conspiracy Theory that they are driving humans to being consumers of just insects...except for the Elites.

Notice how they even make it about the phony "white people verus people of color" war they keep pushing at the end. This is nuts!
    ================================

A California lawmaker introduced a bill banning additives used in Skittles, jelly beans, Campbell's soup, some bread brands, and more, Cnet and other outlets reported.

"Californians shouldn’t have to worry that the food they buy in their neighborhood grocery store might be full of dangerous additives or toxic chemicals," said California Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel (D) in a press release.

Gabriel is the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection.

"This bill will correct for a concerning lack of federal oversight and help protect our kids, public health, and the safety of our food supply," the lawmaker also said of Assembly Bill 418.

If enacted, beloved candies, soups, and breads would become illegal to manufacture or sell in the state. Foods on the chopping block include Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, jelly beans, Trident sugar-free gum, Pez, Hostess desserts, Campbell's soup, Old El Paso queso sauce, certain brands of bread, and more.

The bill would be the first in the United States to ban the use of the named additives in processed foods. Gabriel notes that processed foods and candies containing the substances are "marketed to children, low-income consumers, and communities of color."

The scarcity tactics is used by the elites to promote them as "fossil" fuel, because allegedly being fossil fuels, it means that it will run out, therefore keeping the prices high.
Infact there is almost as much underground oil, as there is water here on Earth.

  • Good day brothers and sisters. We have now come to the Third Sunday of Lent. Who doesn’t want hope and peace? Let’s see what the Smart Book has to say about it;
    Romans 5:1-11 Amplified Bible
    Results of Justification
5 Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 2 Through Him we also have access by faith into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] stand. Let us rejoice in our [a]hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power]. 3 And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; 4 and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. 5 Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation], at the right time Christ died [as a substitute] for the ungodly. 7 Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die. 8 But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Therefore, since we have now been justified [declared free of the guilt of sin] by His blood, [how much more certain is it that] we will be saved from the [b]wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more certain, having been reconciled, that we will be saved [from the consequences of sin] by His life [that is, we will be saved because Christ lives today]. 11 Not only that, but we also rejoice in God [rejoicing in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received and enjoy our reconciliation [with God].
Now isn’t it wonderful what Christ did for us? Because of His sacrifice we can have so much. We have hope and peace. We can be like the Israelites that were untouched as God poured out His wrath on the Egyptians. Best of all we will be saved from the consequences of sin and will live with Him forever. We have a reason to rejoice. We are now reconciled with God. Amen.
The Lord bless and keep you, His Face shine upon you,

  • GOD'S WORD FOR TODAY
    DAILY DEVOTIONAL
    REMEMBER AND REJOICE
    READ DEUTERONOMY 25:1 THROUGH 27:26
At least once a week, Bill and Melanie, partners in both marriage and their law practice, were among those ladling out soup to needy neighbors at a local rescue mission. It hadn’t been long since they had needed help themselves. Married in college, they soon fell under the weight of money problems and a severe illness. However, their church family helped them grow in faith and overcome their difficulties. Serving at the soup kitchen was their way of thanking God for reaching out to them in their time of crisis.

“Afterward you may go and celebrate because of all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household. Remember to include the Levites and the foreigners living among you in the celebration” (Deuteronomy 26:11).

When hard times give way to strength, health, and prosperity, do you give thanks to the God who has rescued you? God told the Israelites to remember His mighty action in their lives, and to do it loudly enough that others would rejoice along with them.

Thought for Today: God is the Source of every good thing in your life.

    Quicklook: Deuteronomy 26:1–11
