From my experience, this kind of rhetoric was more pervasive in the student body itself rather than the faculty. Maybe that's because I wasn't taking anthropology, though my degree IS "Arts & Sciences". Glad I didn't pay for it. Maybe OU was just more resistant to these mind-viruses, or maybe they only gained steam after I left. I drove by the other day and saw ANOTHER building being worked on; payed for by kids and parents tricked into thinking that being castigated would lead them to better life.
