When I arrive at Gregg Wallace’s home the excitement is already at Christmas Eve level. His son, Sid, who is two and a half, is tearing around alongside Wally and Bella, the family’s two equally rambunctious French bulldogs. But none of them is as excited about Christmas as Wallace himself.
