There is no such thing as a haunted place. There is such thing as a haunted/cursed person. For a haunting to take place, it requires energy. Spiritual energy. An inanimate object doesn't have spiritual energy (no spirit), only living things do. Trees, animals, insects, humans, etc. So if you see a ghost or see supernatural event(s), it is not the place that is haunted, you are the one that is haunted. The entity(s) are using your spiritual energies to manifest in some way (noise, moving something, etc). The reason why kids see more supernatural events than adults? This could be because their spiritual "battery" is stronger because they're at the beginning of their lives, adult's "batteries" are weaker. We tend to attract fewer spirits.
