Ukrainian President signed on Tuesday a law to lower the mobilization age from 27 years to 25 years, a document posted on the Verkhovna Rada showed.The law, which refers to any type of combat duty, will be going into force tomorrow. The Verkhovna Rada expressed hopes that the step will help with the issue of "replenishing human reserves." While the Ukrainian Parliament voted for the draft law back in May 2023, the document has been awaiting president signature since June 2023.In the meantime, the head of the state asked the United States for additional military aid, as without it, Ukrainian soldiers would have to start retreating, according to him.
