Studied in the King James Bible IT'S IN OUR SOULS BEST INTEREST … We are all created by God with souls, our souls are who we are, they are our life. I often refer to our souls as our living spiritual beings. Why? Because our spiritual beings are forever, when our earthly bodies die our inner spirit beings live on. Therefore, who we are, how we lived our lives matters when we die. ‘Why does that matter, preacher?’ Because every one of us is responsible for our souls' eternal resting place. And how we choose to live our lives will determine if our spiritual beings will spend their eternal life with our Father God or spend eternal damnation with the devil in Hell. God offers us a choice to be subject to Him, with all His glory and power, which He gives His Children, and servants, Christians who strive to live under His ordinances. Unfortunately, the variety of God’s people have decided they want to live their own way rather than living a life that is subject to God. Therefore, they resist God’s powers, disobeying God’s ordinances, thus their spiritual beings will receive eternal damnation. See> (Romans 13:2) 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. … Those people who stand against God’s goodness and do evil things should fear the power of God, thus give praise. See> (Romans 13:3) 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: ... My final thoughts Personally, folks, I ran with the devil and denied God’s ordinances more than I did good for God during my roller-coaster lifestyle. I only helped others when it was beneficial for me, rather than for their best interests. It was Not until I wholeheartedly gave my life to Christ, God became my Father God and my dedication was for God’s goodness. I learned it would be in my spiritual beings everlasting life’s best interest if I lived in obedience to my Father’s ordinances. So, I quickly learned how to use the power of God’s goodness against the devil’s evil doers. Oh, how quickly they ran off in fear of God’s goodness, in fear of the power God gives all His children to use against them. See> (Romans 13:4) 4 But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. … It is hard to live in this evil world and refrain from those who are against God’s goodness. Therefore, we must keep our minds focused on doing good. Yes, there will be times in which we will fail our Father in Heaven. But through faith we know Jesus is with us and will lead us back to God’s goodness. And that is an awesome thing to know. Go in peace my brothers and sisters, amen. Let us pray together ... Dear Heavenly Father, please help us stay focused on doing godly things, for when we do, we know we are only planting goodness in the hearts of your people who do not know you. Father we trust in your Son Jesus Christ to continue guiding our new lives as our hearts thrive in obedience to your will and goodness. In your Son’s name Jesus Christ, we all pray. Amen.
