Authority is an illusion in the mind of a programmed child who fears total self responsibility and ownership.
When one is weened off the teat of the family, they are 'supposed' to be mature enough to stand on their own and face life as a master of their own destiny. How many people in the modern world ever actually achieve that?
Humanity as a whole will always be a playpen/farm for daft slaves. The FREE are those of us who understand what it takes to actually be FREE. It takes morality, courage, and intellect, among other things, but the first thing it demands is understanding that ONLY YOU are 100% responsible for YOU!
The free will we were created with, that the thumpers falsely swear they understand and the nihilists deny in their heads. Neither group will ever be able of truly understanding free will, because they are both on either extreme opposite end and too far away from the balance needed to grasp it. Plus they are feeble cowards who don't want to accept that it is more of a burdening responsibility than a ticket to do as they please.
