According to Justice Kagan's Dissent (and part-time Prophet) Parts of the East Coast Could Be Swallowed by the Ocean
On the recent EPA decision Kagan noted:
- "If the current rate of emissions continues, children born this year could live to see parts of the Eastern seaboard swallowed by the ocean,"
- "Today, the Court strips the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the power Congress gave it to respond to ‘the most pressing environmental challenge of our time," https://fxn.ws/3yft6By
So, yeah get out your rubber boots and purchase that row boat 'cause the flood is coming.
Then again, she may just have been referring to the beaches along the Jersey shoreline where the water ebbs in and ebbs out continuously, "swallowing up part of the beach"
- I think they call it surf, but don't quote me on that.
