MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC - In the last several days, Sheriff Garry McFadden (D) has released two illegal aliens, both charged with sexually assaulting children, in less than 48 hours. -On June 12 at 10:27 p.m., Jose Antonio Santiago, 50, was booked into the Mecklenburg County Jail on a count of indecent liberties with a child, and was released on June 14 at 11:42 a.m. after paying $2,500 (10 percent of his bond) to a bail bonding service.
