Good morning brothers and sisters. We are now in the season of Epiphany, God with us. The wise men have made their visit to see Jesus. They followed the star to Bethlehem. Now many prophecies have been fulfilled. We are told that before Jesus returns that it will be like the days of Noah. King David sang a song about the day of the storm when the great flood came upon the earth and Noah was spared. Let’s see this Psalm written by David from the Smart Book;
The Voice of the LORD in the Storm.
A Psalm of David.
29 [a]Ascribe to the LORD, O [b]sons of the mighty,
Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name;
Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness].
3
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The LORD is over many waters.
4
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5
The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6
He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
And Sirion (Mount Hermon) like a young, wild ox.
7
The voice of the LORD rakes flames of fire (lightning).
8
The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9
The voice of the LORD [c]makes the doe labor and give birth
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple all are saying, “Glory!”
10
The LORD sat as King at the flood;
Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
11
The LORD will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.
The Lord is responsible for the Angels, they are His. He is the author of glory and strength. He is responsible for all glory due his name. He is the creator of holiness. We are to worship in His beauty and majesty of His holiness. His mighty voice is over us all. He is over us. His voice is so mighty that it will break down the mighty like the cedars of Lebanon. He will flatten the mountains. His voice rakes flames of fire (lightning). The wilderness shakes at His voice. It makes the doe go into labor and give birth. The forest falls down at His voice. All of God’s people will be saying, “Glory!” The Lord is the King over us and will sit as King forever. He will give us His strength and bless us with peace, eternal peace. He was the author of the flood in the day of Noah and He will be the author of the fire at His return. The followers of Jesus will be the flood and survive the fire as we will be instantly transformed into our new heavenly bodies at His coming. We will be saying, “Glory,” as Noah did at the flood. I pray that you have made your choice for Christ and will be prepared for that day as Noah was prepared for the flood. All the mighty men of the earth will fall on their face and seek to hide under the rocks at the coming of the Lord. They will fall and the Lord Himself will be King forever.
The Lord bless and keep you, His face shine upon you,
