Kenosha police say they pulled Morrison over because he was following a block behind the bus, and drive through a red light at one point. MSNBC was barred from the court room after the incident. Morrison told police that a supervisor (NBC producer Irene Byon) instructed him to follow the bus.

Now that the footage is out, the incident looks even sketchier than described.

“Were you following a vehicle?” Morrison is asked by the officer.

“I was trying to see — I was being called by New York, going, maybe these are people you need to follow, but I, I don’t know,” Morrison replied. “I was trying to -”

“You was trying to what?”

“Just do what they told me to do,” Morrison says.

“New York told you to follow a vehicle?” replies the officer.

“Yes.”

Then Morrison calls NBC’s Irene Byon and has her talk to the officer – and she brings up that the bus was a jury bus without the officer mentioning the jury once. While there’s a shortage of seemingly everything in the Biden economy, there was no shortage of “um…. like… uhh, umms” in Byon attempting to explain what’s going on.

Meanwhile, Snopes says that it’s “unproven” that a MSNBC producer intentionally followed a bus containing jurors.

Ain’t the “fact checkers” great?
