SANTA ROSA, CA - On Wednesday, Gerardo Mendoza, 47, was sentenced to prison by Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Robert LaForge after he pleaded no contest to manslaughter in the brutal death of his daughter. On November 20, 2016, Mendoza took his 4-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son to St. John the Baptist Church in Healdsburg.
