This mic is amazing and I would recommend it for you. Pros: Smooth volume control for setting the output DB from 0 to 10db. I've read reviews that have complained that turning the volume control while filming makes some noise. I have not noticed this and show it in the video I made reviewing this microphone. Excellent background noise reduction. Great shock mount for mounting on the hot shoe of your camera. The carrying case is well made and will really protect your mic when you travel. I ride my bicycle all around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and I am planning on taking videos with this mic on some of my excursions. Excellent sound quality. Great for making educational videos like I do. Extremely uni directional microphone which is expected in a shotgun microphone. Unknowns: I have not tested the 75hz and 150hz low cut filter yet.
