Police were called to a football pitch on Craneford Way, Twickenham, at 4.45 pm yesterday.
Officers rushed to the scene with the London Ambulance Service and said that the victim sustained serious knife wounds.
He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital trauma unit and tragically pronounced dead at 5.54 pm
